It was never about changing yourself out of self-hate. Rather, accepting you right now and changing through acts of self-love. You open a new chapter in your life. Self kindness is not a state of being; It’s more like a muscle that constantly needs to receive attention. Also, if you accept all the wrong parts of you, you start changing yourself in all the right ways. Another thing, self-discovery starts becoming part of the package. You’ll start learning a lot about yourself, and as a result, create your own self identity. So, here are some self-love actions you can take with you and work on, on your journey:
Take yourself on a self-date. Explore a museum. Eat at your favorite place. Get your nails or hair done, etc.
Find an exercise that makes you excited.
Learn a new recipe.
Eat a raw foods/whole foods for a week. Cut out sugar and dairy.
Sleep in for 10 hours of sleep.
Find a new podcast. Find a new tv series/ movie to binge.
Take an everything bath/shower. Add your favorite bath oil instead of a bath bomb. It leaves skin super soft and hydrated after bathing.
Clean your room. The end result can give you positive energy and make you feel good in your space.
Make your favorite Matcha or other herbal detox tea.
Look up body- dry brushing and try it.
Get a massage to release stress, pain, and tension. Also, you can try cupping therapy or Acupuncture.
Before drinking soda, drink water. If after, you still want the soda, have it.
